The Pedemontis wines Betlem Barbera d’Alba Superiore 2021 and Arajs Roero Aneis 2021 are
awarded Two Glasses by the Gambero Rosso Italian Wine Guide.
Pedemontis is a small agricultural company of the Montanaro/Cordero family where forests and truffles,
vineyards and hazelnut groves, agricultural practices and animals, breath in unison sharing a space of
cooperation that strengthens the vitality of the environment and offers excellences of rare perfection.
The grape varieties cultivated by Nico Cordero’s expert hands are located between the villages of Priocca,
Magliano Alfieri and Govone and are the traditional ones of the Roero: Barbera and Nebbiolo for the red
wines, Arneis and Favorita for the white wines.
Vineyards with a centuries-old history, immersed in a landscape that is a treasure chest of biodiversity,
where the forest and the vines are cultivated according to the principles of sustainable and lowintervention agriculture, to enclose the deep breath of Piedmont in every glass.
“I would never have imagined that in such a short time we would be able to achieve this result, thanks to
the work and commitment of all of us. A prestigious recognition for Pedemontis, dedicated to two grape
varieties particularly dear to me: those that I planted and watched grow as a child, taking care of them
down to the smallest details, day by day.”
